Even though many travel companies spend large amounts of money on website security, the hacking continues. This is because these companies store their data (or should we say, your data) on the Cloud, which makes it easy for hacking to occur.
The JourneyHero app was specifically designed to protect your personal data and privacy, and we do this in a few different ways:
- Firstly, we never store any data on the Cloud. All of your private data is only stored on your personal device. Because of this, it is highly recommended that you have an iCloud backup. If your phone is misplaced, some of the data will be lost as well.
- JourneyHero does not own your data – YOU own your data. Therefore, we never sell your data to any third-party. That is simply out of the question!
- JourneyHero is very clear about what data we use and how it is used. We also only provide the bare minimum details to suppliers. As you can imagine, the less personal details shared, the better.
- JourneyHero never transfers your credit card from your phone. We do this by using secure payment methods.
